I’ve been using clean fragrances since 2019. Traditional perfume gives me a headache and I hate the thought of breathing in toxic chemicals all day. The instagram ads got me and I HAD to give Dime Beauty’s perfume a try!
Dime Beauty’s perfume only contains ingredients that are in EWG’s safe zone. (EWG is a wonderful source, but isn’t the end all, be all with ingredient safety so I looked into the ingredient list myself and there weren’t any obvious red flags for me!)

I ordered the Dime Beauty Perfume sampler which includes…
-Dans Les Bois
-7 Summers
-Malibu Night
-Lovely Sweet Dreams
-I Love Your Smell, Baby
To me, all of the scents were very feminine and sweet. None of them were too musky and none of them were spicy. They were all very soft, fresh scents.
Keep reading for my thoughts on each fragrance and read to the end to find out which ones I ordered the full size of!
Dans Les Bois:
Dime Beauty’s “Dans Les Bois” perfume is supposedly a dupe for Baccarat Rouge perfume! I’ve never tried Baccarat Rouge so I don’t know that personally.
Dans Les Bois smells feminine and expensive. To me, it smelled sweet and a little fruity. The base notes contain Amber, Woods, and Leather which I didn’t smell much of at all.
The scent lasted all day and I didn’t have to reapply. The scent wasn’t as potent at the end of the day but I was still catching whiffs of it.
Dans Les Bois is one of those scents that smells really good, but it’s not my scent.
7 Summers:
Dime Beauty’s “7 Summers” perfume was one of the stronger scents of the bunch. It smells like summer. It’s warm, fruity, and sweet. I definitely caught the Juicy Pear and the Warm Vanilla in it.
Even though this one was initially a stronger scent, it did not last throughout the entire day. You would need to reapply this one.
7 Summers was not my favorite. It smells good, but it’s not one I would want to wear most days.
Malibu Night:
Dime Beauty describes “Malibu Night” as a “coconut musk and berries scent.” I didn’t smell the coconut musk much, but it is definitely a sweet berries scent!
Malibu Night’s scent lasted about half the day so you would need to reapply this one for all day wear.
Overall I really liked this one! If it wasn’t as fruity sweet and a little more vanilla sweet smelling, it would be one of my favorites.
Lovely Sweet Dreams:
Initially, Dime Beauty’s “Lovely Sweet Dreams” perfume was my least favorite. I think the day I tried it for the first time, I was in the mood for a sugary sweet smell and this one is more of a warm vanilla smell.
Lovely Sweet Dreams lasted about half the day so you would need to reapply. It’s definitely a lighter smell than Dans Les Bois or 7 Summers which I actually like. I don’t like really strong perfumes.
Lovely Sweet Dreams actually ended up being one of my favorites! I love the cozy vanilla smell and it’s more of an evening scent than the other perfumes.
I Love Your Smell, Baby:
I LOVE Dime Beauty’s “I Love Your Smell, Baby.” LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I Love Your Smell, Baby is a sweet, sugary smell. It smells like cotton candy, warm vanilla, and a little fruity too.
I used to love Bath & Body Works Pink Chiffon body spray (before I went toxin free…I’d never touch anything from Bath & Body Works now.) I Love Your Smell, Baby smells like a more expensive version of Pink Chiffon.
This one is also a lighter scent that you would need to reapply if you wanted it to last all day. Overall though, this one is hands down, my FAVORITE of Dime Beauty’s perfumes!
Are Dime Perfumes Worth It?
Yes! They are much healthier for you than other fragrances, they smell good, and you can’t beat their price point! They’re about half of what Skylar perfume costs (and Dime smells more expensive than Skylar fragrances) and less than half of what Henry Rose costs.
If you like feminine scents and are looking for a more affordable, clean perfume, Dime is definitely worth trying!
So which Dime Beauty Perfumes did I get the full size of?
I got 2 full size perfumes from Dime Beauty. You can probably guess I Love Your Smell, Baby was the first one I added to my cart!
I also purchased the full size of Lovely Sweet Dreams! This one surprised me because I didn’t like it much at first. The smell definitely grew on me and I like that it’s different from the other scents in the sample pack.
Have you tried any clean fragrances? Which one is your favorite? Let me know!
