Y’all, it’s so comfy, so soft, and it actually keeps me pretty cool in this 90 degree heat 🥵

It was super affordable too! I think I only spent around $50.

I never knew what to do with my kitchen. Ever since I moved in I thought my kitchen was so boring. I didn’t want to make any super dramatic changes because I thought I’d only be here for a year or 2.

It’s been 5 years, I’m not going anywhere any time soon, so I figured it was finally time to make it a place I enjoy 🤍

Ok, so this was my Saturday morning 2 weeks ago, but it’s pretty accurate to my Saturday mornings.

Like last Saturday, went to the gym, got breakfast with my gym friends, and toured apartments (I’m not going to move though, just curious what else is nearby.)

Tomorrow I’ll go to the gym, get coffee, maybe do a little shopping for a little project I’m going to attempt, stay tuned!

I really do enjoy my single Saturday mornings though...even though I do get a little jealous of my friends who have their kids soccer games or t-ball games to go to, that’s just not where God wants me right now and I have peace with that.

So for now, I’ll just be present and live the fullest life I can at this season 💕

I was touring apartments today, just for fun! And

I was touring apartments today, just for fun! And I started talking to one of the girls in one of the leasing offices about New York. She was a ballet dancer and we were talking about taking classes at Steps and she was like I want to do that so bad!

I was like DO IT!! Just take the bus, go for the day, and come home at night! It’s such an easy, cheap day trip from this area!

I feel like so many people (including myself) over think a lot, and make so many excuses to not do things they really want to do because of fear, or the don’t have any one to do them with and they don’t want to do it alone, whatever the reason is that’s holding you back from doing what you want, stop letting it!

It’s taken me a long time to learn this, but today is the youngest I’ll ever be, so why not do the things I want to do now??!!

I had been talking about going to take classes just for fun, in NYC for so long…like literally I remember posting it on my personal insta in 2019 🤯 Why the heck did I wait so long??!

I’ve already gone twice this year and I definitely plan to go more!

I’ve been wanting to do a book haul since I needed some new books to read this summer! ☀️

I definitely don’t buy books at full price though. I usually get them used on Amazon or Thrift Books, sometimes me and my friends will swap books too!

Every time I go to the thrift store, I have to check out the book isle. Every once in a while, I may find one book…I was SHOCKED when I found 5! 🩷🥳

I kind of want to gatekeep buying books at thrift stores, but I won’t…book lovers deserve to know 😅
